GRAND FORKS — The North Dakota softball team walloped South Dakota State on Sunday, April 28, 7-1, to win the weekend series against the Jackrabbits.

Lexi Mayhood and Marina Marzolino each hit home runs for the Fighting Hawks in the victory.

Emily Rosas went six innings, giving up just three hits and allowing the only visitor run of the afternoon.

University of North Dakota is at North Dakota State next to wrap up it's regular season before the Summit League Tournament begins.
