COLORDADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The St. Cloud State men's hockey team knows its game times and some familiar names will be doing the broadcasts at the NCHC pod.

There will be 40 games played at Baxter Arena in Omaha, Neb., from Dec. 1-20. The NCHC announced on Tuesday that Midco Sports Network will produce the broadcasts for all of the games, which will be available on NCHC.tv and MidcoSN.

"The array of broadcasters announcing the games are all names NCHC fans are familiar with and will provide great passion and insight during the 20 days," NCHC commissioner Josh Fenton said in a news release. "We can't wait to drop the puck."

"This is such an exciting opportunity to partner with the NCHC in a unique and safe way," said Mark Powell, vice president of MidcoSN. "What a thrill it will be to bring MidcoSN fans top-tier college hockey day after day."

Ben Holden will do the play-by-play and Dave Starman will provide color commentary on several of the games. The pair have been the lead college hockey announcing team for CBS Sports Network since 2013. MidcoSN's Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt will also be featured on broadcasts in the pod. That pair has been the lead announcing team for the University of North Dakota broadcasts since 2016.

Veteran play-by-play man Donny Baarns and former Nebraska Omaha captain David Brisson will be featured on MidcoSN's broadcasts inside the pod. Baarns is the radio voice for Nebraska Omaha.

Two games will take place on most weekdays (Tuesdays-Fridays) and there will be tripleheaders on Saturdays and Sundays.
