MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Joe Mauer threw three of his four touchdown passes to Tony Leseman to lead Cretin-Derham Hall to a 31-21 victory over Wayzata in the Class 5A semifinals Friday.

The fifth-ranked Raiders (12-1), who lost to Wayzata 44-36 during the regular season, will defend their state title next Friday against Eden Prairie.

Mauer completed 18 of 34 passes for 327 yards. Leseman caught eight passes for 172 yards, including touchdown passes of 23, 9 and 50 yards. Kim Sarin caught five passes for 112 yards, including a 64-yard TD pass. Rashon Powers-Neal rushed for 139 yards on 31 carries.

The No. 4 Trojans (10-2) were led by Marion Barber III, who rushed for three touchdowns. He gained 164 yards on 20 carries.
