BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Friday, Feb. 26. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.
Statewide case rates
- NEW CASES: 94
- TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 707
- TOTAL CASES: 99,711
- TOTAL RECOVERED: 97,562
- DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 1.59%
North Dakota's active case count increased by one on Friday. Ward County reported 16 positive cases, while Cass and Grand Forks County each reported 12 additional cases.
ACTIVE HOSPITALIZATIONS: 21
DEATHS, NEWLY REPORTED: 1
TOTAL DEATHS: 1,442
The Department of Health reported the death of a Cass County man in his 60s. Hospitalizations decreased by four over the last day.
FIRST DOSE ADMINISTERED: 126,570 (17.3% of population)
COMPLETED SERIES (Two doses): 69,786 (9.5% of population)
