PIERRE, S.D. — South Dakota saw 163 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported on Monday, Sept. 14, bringing the state’s total number of positive cases to 16,801.

Of those cases, 14,118 have recovered and can no longer transmit the virus, according to the South Dakota Department of Health. There are 2,499 The death toll remained at 184.

Currently, 110 people are hospitalized for COVID-19.
