East Grand Forks declares snow emergency

EAST GRAND FORKS — The city of East Grand Forks is declaring a snow emergency starting at 3 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4.

During a snow emergency, there is no parking allowed on city streets. Vehicles parked on the street during a snow emergency are subject to ticketing and towing.

The emergency will remain in effect until all streets have been cleared to their full width.

The winter storm is expected to bring total snow accumulations of 6 to 9 inches, according to the WDAY StormTracker team.
