GRAND FORKS — Snow totals over the past 48 hours reached double digits for many towns in the Grand Forks-East Grand Forks region, according to National Weather Service reports.

Grand Forks-East Grand Forks reported 12.9 inches of snow from the blizzard, while the Grand Forks Air Force Base reported 13.5 inches, the weather service said. Mekinock, N.D., reported 18 inches.

The highest reported total so far is from Ellendale in southeast North Dakota. The Dickey County town was pummeled with 26 inches of snow.

Accumulation was still gathering as bands of light snow continued to fall over eastern North Dakota on Monday, Dec. 30.

Kindred, N.D.: 11.5 inches.

Frazee, Minn.: 11 inches.

Michigan, N.D.: 10.5 inches.

Niagara, N.D.: 9 inches.

Roseau, Minn.: 7 inches.
