BISMARCK — The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol have issue a no travel advisory for the north central part of the state due to snow that is reducing visibility and creating hazardous driving conditions.

Cities included in the advisory are Minot, Bowbells, Stanley, Bottineau, Towner, Parshall, Rugby, Rolla and surrounding areas.

A no travel advisory means motorists should not travel in those areas due to unsafe travel. Snowplows may be pulled, and emergency responders may not be able to reach motorists who venture into those areas.
