Fargo police identify second body found in grocery store parking lot this winter

FARGO -- Police on Monday, Feb. 11, have identified the 68-year-old Fargo man found dead last week in a grocery store parking lot. It was the second time in two weeks a body had been found inside a vehicle outside a Fargo grocery store.

The body of Roger Fjeldahl, 68, of Fargo was discovered just after 9 a.m. Saturday in the Hornbacher's parking lot at 1532 32nd Ave. S.

Police say they don't believe he died due to cold weather and no foul play is expected. They say the incident is still under investigation.

The body of Barbara Anne Barry, 65, was discovered in her car in the Cash Wise parking lot at 1401 33rd St. S. on Jan. 30. Authorities believe Barry had been dead in her car for months before someone found her body.
