DUNSEITH, N.D. — A crash on a rural road in northern North Dakota caused the death of a Dunseith woman Saturday morning, Oct. 17.

According to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by 25-year-old Nachae Mims ran off the roadway at an intersection approximately 3 miles east of Dunseith and overturned.

Mims, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
