INFORMATION - A report at 3:04 p.m. May 30 that the Morrison County Jail intercepted two letters from two female inmates that indicate a planned escape from the jail. One woman wrote a letter to her husband asking him to help her and the other woman escape from custody. The other woman wrote a couple letters to a friend and her boyfriend asking them to help her and her friend escape from custody.

FIRE - A report at 6:54 p.m., Saturday, of a boat on fire on Highway 10 in Motley. Owner discovered that gas was spilling from the boat’s drain plug and when he removed the cover on the boat, the battery was on its side and it caused a spark, which caused the fire.

THEFT - A report at 9:48 a.m., Wednesday, of a theft from a garage on the 13000 block of Haven Road, Little Falls. Two 20-pound propane cylinders and a black cast-iron pig roaster on wheels were stolen from a truck and the garage.

A report at 7:27 p.m., May 30, of a theft of $200 cash and a big screen TV from a residence in Buckman.

A report at 7:20 p.m., May 30, of two all-terrain vehicles stolen from a shed on 125th Avenue in Little Falls.

A report at 7:47 a.m., May 30, of a theft of a truck that is missing from a yard on Twin Lakes Road in Little Falls.

BURGLARY - A report May 26 of a burglary at Pelican Square convenient store, where two people used tools to open safes, taking an undisclosed amount of money.

THEFT - A report at 8:16 a.m., Thursday, of a theft of flowers at SuperAmerica, 321 Washington St.

Crow Wing sheriff

THEFT - A report at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, of a vehicle missing from a driveway on the 6000 block of Estate Circle Drive, Brainerd.

A report at 11:22 a.m., Wednesday, of a theft of a tire on the 11000 block of Business Highway 371, Brainerd.

A report at 9:27 a.m., Wednesday, of a theft of a fish house trailer on the 9000 block of Wetherbee Road, Brainerd.

Little Falls police

THEFT - A 28-year-old was arrested at 6:43 p.m., Tuesday, after a report of a theft on the 1100 block of Second Avenue Northeast.
